Today we celebrated our amazing bus drivers who safely transport our children every day! Your dedication ensures that our students arrive at school and home safely, ready to learn and grow.

Bus #43-Logan Taylor's bus has broken down on Melvin Dr off of Dogwood, we are taking another bus to him to complete the route. The bus # will be 8.
Please let the parents know that the children will be late getting home.

Attention Current Algebra I Students: The end of course Algebra I test has been rescheduled to Monday, April 29th and Tuesday, April 30th.


Our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be on Tuesday, May 21st. the gym doors will be open at 8:30 am. Students may leave with their parent or guardian after the ceremony.

Washington Trip Informational meeting is TONIGHT @ 5 PM in the CMS cafeteria.


CMS STUDENTS AND PARENTS: TNReady testing will begin, April 16th - April 23rd! Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast, and are at school ON TIME. STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR CLASSROOM BY 8:20 am! We also ask that you schedule any check outs around the testing schedule. Thanks you! Please see the schedule below.

Freshman Registration at Roane County High School is April 4th and April 11th from 5:30-7 pm each night.
Students whose last names begin with A-L plan to attend on Tuesday, April 4th.
Students whose last names begin with M-Z plan to attend on Thursday, April 11th.
If you have a conflict with your scheduled night, please make arrangements to come on the other night.
Students need to get their classes scheduled for a smooth transition into RCHS.

Celebrating Christmas at CMS this year with fun dress up days!


Enjoy some Holiday cheer at this year's Christmas Band Concert put on by the Cherokee Middle School Bands and the RCHS Band!


Macy Eason has been an integral part of the success of CMS. She cares deeply about her students, and goes above and beyond for her them as well as her co-workers.
"I enjoy being able to be a part of my students growth through their middle school years. Academically, I get to see them gain confidence in math skills and problem solving, I also get to see them grow as individuals as they go through a time of a lot of change. It's a very rewarding job!"
