Cherokee Middle School Girls Basketball Try-outs will be Wednesday, May 22nd in the Cherokee Middle School Gym. Rising 7th & 8th Graders are from 3:30 - 4:30 PM and rising 6th Graders are from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
Come on out and support the Roane County Schools Education Foundation! There may even be a surprise clogging performance!
The Cherokee Middle School Band Concert will be Thursday, May 9, 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the CMS gym.
Cherokee Middle School Baseball try-outs will be Friday, May 24th for upcoming 6th - 8th grade from 5 - 7 PM at Southwest Point Ball Field. Students must have a current physical to try out.

Attention Current Algebra I Students: The end of course Algebra I test has been rescheduled to Monday, April 29th and Tuesday, April 30th.
Our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be on Tuesday, May 21st. the gym doors will be open at 8:30 am. Students may leave with their parent or guardian after the ceremony.

CMS STUDENTS AND PARENTS: TNReady testing will begin, April 16th - April 23rd! Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast, and are at school ON TIME. STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR CLASSROOM BY 8:20 am! We also ask that you schedule any check outs around the testing schedule. Thanks you! Please see the schedule below.

CMS GIRLS Volleyball Tryouts for 6th, 7th and 8th graders will be Friday, May 24th @ 3 PM. RCHS will have their own volleyball tryouts and will post soon for all rising freshman.
The 8th grade trip to Washington DC Parent Meeting will be April 17th, 5 PM in the cafeteria. Please make plans to attend.
Freshman Registration at Roane County High School is April 4th and April 11th from 5:30-7 pm each night.
Students whose last names begin with A-L plan to attend on Tuesday, April 4th.
Students whose last names begin with M-Z plan to attend on Thursday, April 11th.
If you have a conflict with your scheduled night, please make arrangements to come on the other night.
Students need to get their classes scheduled for a smooth transition into RCHS.
