The items in the photo were purchased using the Gene Haas Scholarship to supply the required tools for the OSHS/TCAT machining students. We would like to thank the Gene Haas Foundation for the support for our OSHS machining program.

The OSHS Baseball team would like to say THANK YOU for supporting their Dining Discount Card fundraiser.

Due to a forecast of heavy rains, extremely high winds, and an elevated risk of tornadoes, Roane County Schools (TN) will be closed tomorrow, Friday, March 3, 2023.

The Sophomores are having a Krispy Kreme fundraiser. The sale will end March 20th and they can be purchased from an OSHS sophomore or in the front office from Mrs. Singleton or Mrs. Brown. Buy some doughnuts and support the Class of 2025!

Media Arts Students took a break from digital art and painted. They chose a song, colors to represent that song, and then listened to the beat and lyrics to paint a representation of that song. The whole class did a great job and enjoyed the activity. These are the students who wanted to share their work.

Today a few staff members from OSHS and OSMS attended the STEM Expo in Sevierville to enhance their STEM knowledge and network with area businesses to provide educational opportunities for our students. Mr. Branham, vice principal of OSHS and OSMS, and Ms. Wright, principal of OSMS, presented at one of the sessions as well!

This past weekend the Science Bowl team (Tristan, Nicole, Gracie, Walker, and Jonah) got to participate in the Tennessee Science Bowl at Pellissippi State in Blount County. They played 7 rounds and had a lot of fun! They even got to tour and participate in the Nursing Simulation Lab. They attended a Science Bowl Banquet and were able to listen to several different scientists. Congratulations to these students!

TONIGHT is the first round of region play with the Bobcats hosting Greenback. OSHS and OSMS students need to enter the building at the back gate as the first 100 students have their admission covered by our donors. Gates open at 6:00pm. We are asking all fans to wear PURPLE to support our team. GO BOBCATS!

OSHS would like to give a HUGE thank you to the Oliver Springs Community! Because of YOU, we have 100 student tickets for tomorrow night's Region Tournament game. Thank you for supporting our students and our athletes! GO BOBCATS!

This Saturday night Oliver Springs High School will be hosting a Round 1 Region Tournament Game. We are looking for generous community members who would like to cover admissions for students to the region game in order to increase school spirit. Under TSSAA rules, no one is allowed in for free to TSSAA sanctioned tournament games. Therefore, we would like donors to call the front office and donate money to cover the costs for student admissions so all students can attend the game. The game is Saturday, February 25, at 7:00pm. Gates will open at 6:00pm.
