I have the honor of teaching the most amazing group of students! Our classroom is constantly filled with the sounds of learning and laughter. If you step into my room, prepare to stay a while. These students are magnetic and have a way of instantly warming your heart before you even know it's happening..........sneaky kids;)

Office Hours

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

This is when I am available and will respond to emails.

 

Assignment Pick Up

Assignments available for pick up on Fridays at the school office. When picking up the upcoming week’s assignments, you are to turn in that week’s completed assignments.

 

Lives:

2x per day. 1 group session, 1 individual session

  • Morning Routine: 8:30 a.m. M-R (link sent via google classroom)
  • End of Day Session: Each student will check in at the end of each day to go over the day’s work/assignments. The time and link will be consistent and sent via google classroom.
  • Your inclusion science and social studies teachers will be available on their Google Classrooms each day to attend live, ask questions, etc.

11:00am - Science

1:00 pm - Social Studies

 

OT/Speech/PT: Services for each student are different and were determined in his/her ISSP meeting. Some of you are receiving hard copies of materials/practices, whereas some of you are attending live sessions. Some of you may even be attending sessions at an alternate location.

 

Expectations

  1. Students are expected to get up every morning M - F and check in with their Homeroom teacher (M-R live morning routine with Ms. Allen @ 8:30 a.m.).
  2. When students are expected to show up to ‘Live’ classes, they must be respectful. Sit at a table, dress appropriately, do not eat food, have T.V. off, no talking or moving around in the background, and have Chromebook muted. They must have all materials available and ready.
  3. Check all Core Teachers’ Websites at 9:00 a.m. (Your work is hard copy, however, there may be important announcements/information you need to see.)
  4. If students are in Band, they are expected to attend at the specified Band Times. 
  5. Students should check the Websites of their Related Arts Teachers Weekly for updates and ‘to-do’s for STEM (Computer), P.E., Guidance and Library. 
  6. Respect Teachers' Office Hours, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Even though the students prefer to work at night, they cannot expect a teacher to reply to their questions after hours. 

 

 

Live Band Classes:

7th grade -   8:30 - 9:00 am

6th grade - 12:30 - 1:00 pm

8th grade -   2:00 - 3:00 pm
